Solana Monkey Developers (SMDevs)<\/span><\/a> are exclusive, non-purchasable, and non-transferable NFTs awarded to graduates of Ackee Blockchain Security\u2019s School of Solana. Since February 2022, Ackee has trained thousands of developers in Rust and Solana, with less than 3% successfully graduating, making it a prestigious achievement.<\/span><\/p>\n

The SMDevs initiative, inspired by the beloved Solana Monkey Business NFT collection, has two key goals: to help newcomers adopt an identity aligned with the Solana ecosystem’s culture and to incentivize more developers to complete the program, ultimately expanding the number of developers shipping projects on Solana.<\/span><\/p>\n

These NFTs complement Ackee\u2019s existing certification system. While Ackee will continue issuing regular graduation certificate NFTs, which are ideal for sharing professional achievements on platforms like LinkedIn, SMDevs serve as an additional reward, reinforcing community identity and developer growth within the Solana space.<\/span><\/p>\n

SMDevs are earned by developers who complete the program, build, and successfully ship projects on Solana. Graduates from Seasons 1 to 5 of the School of Solana will be eligible to request and claim their NFT. Although the claim process isn\u2019t open yet, details will be announced via the Solana Monkey Devs Twitter account.<\/span><\/p>\n

By rewarding graduates with these unique NFTs, Ackee aims to build a stronger sense of community and encourage more developers to learn, build, and contribute to the Solana ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>\n
